Where do guests park at WOW?
WOW has its own free parking lot with attendants and provides signature shuttle service for all guests. This is a complimentary service with all events.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Between Windows On Washington® and Windows Off Washington®, we have 6 distinct rooms to choose from. The rooms are different sizes and shapes and can accommodate varying amounts of guests depending on the type of event. Please see our room capacity chart for specific information.
What do your wedding packages include?
We offer a several packages for a variety of wedding events: rehearsal dinners, cocktail receptions, buffet receptions and sit-down dinner receptions. Our packages represent the most popular event choices set at different price points to accommodate varying budgets. As well, all packages can be customized to meet your specific needs. All wedding packages include: parking lot with attendants & signature shuttle service, glass of signature champagne greeting, bartenders, serving staff and party captain, china, silverware and stem glassware, tables, black chairs and white linens, after-event shuttle service to select downtown hotels.
If I book my wedding at WOW, do I have to choose a package right away?
No. Choosing the room and the date is the first step and you want to do that as soon as possible to insure the date and room you want are available. We typically like to determine the package, menu choices and additional décor/event options about 3 months out. Final head count for events are due 7 days before the event.
Can WOW accommodate a wedding ceremony?
Yes. Depending on your needs and desires, we can hold the ceremony and reception in one of our larger spaces. Or, we can use two different rooms - one for the ceremony and one for the reception.
Does WOW provide wedding cakes?
No, our catering department does not make wedding cakes; we leave that up to St Louis' expert bakers. We have a few preferred bakery vendors on our list that we suggest. You can rest assure WOW Banquets will take care of the cutting and serving of your wedding cake though. WOW Banquets can also provide desserts for your event if you prefer.
May we choose our own vendors?
WOW Banquets provides all catering services for the venue. For additional services, WOW will provide a list of preferred vendors, all whom provide excellent quality and competitive pricing. These vendors are familiar with the facility and provide our guests with superior service at a discounted preferred rate. You are more than welcome to use vendors that are not on our list as well.
When can outside vendors access my room for setup?
Depending on what events are going on in the facility and what time your event is scheduled to begin, typically vendors (such as the florist, bakery, musical entertainer - DJ, Band) can access the room that morning/day. If there is no event in your room the previous night, vendors may be able to access the room the night before your event.
How long are most wedding receptions at WOW?
Typically, wedding receptions are 4-5 hours. Cocktail receptions are usually 4 hours, with Buffet and Sit-Down Dinners lasting about 5 hours. For dinner events, there is usually a 1 hour cocktail hour, 1 hour dinner/dessert service and 2-3 hours of Cocktails/Dancing. Events can be longer if you desire, WOW can serve alcohol until 1 am.
