A handful of the most frequently asked questions about private events and parties at WOW®. If you have a question that we haven't answered on our website, please don't hesitate to contact us via our online form or call us at 314-241-5555.
Where do guests park at WOW?
WOW has its own free parking lot with attendants and provides signature shuttle service for all guests. This is a complimentary service with all events.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Between Windows On Washington® and Windows Off Washington®, we have 6 distinct rooms to choose from. The rooms are different sizes and shapes and can accommodate varying amounts of guests depending on the type of event. Additionally, you can reserve more than one room for an event; we have had guests reserve all of Windows Off Washington for a big event or reserve two rooms to carry out different activities for an event. Please see our room capacity chart for specific information.
Do you offer specific packages for private events and parties?
Because each private event is so different, we don't have specific packages developed for each type of event; however just tell us a little bit about your event and we will gladly put some package options together; or customize a package based on your wants and desires.
What types of private events and parties have been hosted at WOW?
We can do it all....and have through the years! We have hosted a variety of charitable functions with auctions, fashion shows and dinners. We have hosted civic galas, bar/bat mitzvahs, proms, birthday parties, anniversaries and more.
May we choose our own vendors?
WOW Banquets provides all catering services for the venue. For additional services, WOW will provide a list of preferred vendors, all whom provide excellent quality and competitive pricing. These vendors are familiar with the facility and provide our guests with superior service at a discounted preferred rate. You are more than welcome to use vendors that are not on our list as well.
When can outside vendors access my room for setup?
Depending on what events are going on in the facility and what time your event is scheduled to begin, typically vendors can access the room that morning/day. If there is no event in your room the previous night, vendors may be able to access the room the night before your event.
